Scojo -LBI
Scojo -LBI

Over a decade ago, two brothers, Scott and Joe, joined together to form Scojo’s, where they have been serving vacationing family's amazing food on LBI. We used to say it was worth the half an hour to 45 minute trip off the Parkway, but in 2008 the brothers opened a second restaurant at the Tuckerton Seaport which is only minutes from the Parkway. Upgrade any entrée for an extra $3 ($2 for the Early Bird) to get soup and salad, coffee or tea and dessert. Their Manhattan clam chowder is extremely good. Also, you have to try at least 1 of their tasty appetizers like the milk bath calamari, the crab cake bites or the larger than shoestring size clam strips. My husband loves Marcela dishes, but he is not typically fan of pork chops, so it was a stretch for him to order the Marcela Pork Chop with Portabella and Dark House Mushrooms. He absolutely loved it and cannot wait to try their Veal Marcela. If it’s crab cakes you fancy, have the crab cake dinner or add a crab cake to any entrée – you will not be disappointed. And last is the dessert. The rich hot bread pudding with their fresh churned creamy Ice cream was divine and great for sharing. So whether you are going to Long Beach Island and visiting the Barnegat Lighthouse or to the Tuckerton Seaport, Scojos good food, family kindness and friendly staff are there for you.
